And it starts...

My linux adventure began with a free shell provided by cjb.net .....

I've used many distros of linux, but really one annoying problem that anyone of you will find is , you cant really "rely" on linux to do anything. I mean it does what it can in fast and better way, but you cant be sure it will do the thing, untill it does. And this is the weakness of linux.

Ofcourse all this , if you are new to linux, I would predict that real-linux-users would compile stuff and get it going right there and then, instead of fooling around with binaries provided by others.

So..as I said, i've used linux from redhat 6 onwards , somewhere during 2001 was the first time, I actually installed linux. But lets say, I dont have a "perfect-desktop-solution" using linux. I've tried tons of distros but all of 'em have one or other weakness....

Some have buggy package managers , some dont have required driver support, some are downright unreliable.

But now I am trying to compile the system itself from scratch. using linux from scratch to guide my things.
